Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
Quite a while ago we discovered this Italian red wine at Phillips Fine Wines in Stockton, NJ. They consistently have the best assortment… both expensive fancy stuff and great value finds. In the front of the store they always have boxes stacked up of featured wines with amazing prices. You can find this Montepulciano for about $14 a bottle. I see it available in more wine stores these days. Nice and fruity. They also make a white wine with the same signature bottle. We always have a some of the red on hand and we call it stick wine.
